"An impish grin
she sometimes wears, friendly humor with few cares."
Tacoma, Washington |
Retired from 10 years as a Wal-Mart greeter in 2008.
Have made two trips since them to Florida for graduations and have four
more here in the next four years for my grandkids.
Have traveled with my daughters or sister to several
places.
Go camping whenever possible to the hills out of
Packwood (fishing in a float tube). Spend time collecting
flamingos and also sewing a few quilts. |

I married Rod Jackman (class of 57) in September
1960. We raised 2 girls and 1 boy. Rod built custom homes in the
area and I worked in a print shop until 1984. We left the children
who were grown and moved to Yakima to start a Honey Bee and
Polination business. We have owned as many as 1500 colonies, we are
now down to 600 colonies and lease 1600 colonies for pollination in
Washington. We travel to California with the bees to pollinate the
almonds. We use to take them to North Dakota for a honey crop but
now keep them in Washington and take care of them ourselves.
We have 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters whom we
love and enjoy doing things with them. We are all going on a cruise
this June 2010 for our 50th anniversary.
We have been to China and Panama on mission trips
with the church to help build a church and a school. We are
planning on retiring in the next two years and hopefully do some
more traveling.

Sonny and I just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary
with a big party and then we took off in the motor home for 2 months.
We have 4 children 1 girl and 3 boys and 7 beautiful
grandchildren.
I retired from Roadway Express Intl dept. and Sonny
retired from construction. We love to travel and I love working in my
yard.
We have traveled to Costa Rica twice to help with Teen
Challenge. We are free from any obligations now so we can come and go as
we please and I love it. We love to travel and plan to do a lot more.
